The 1913 atlas shows a square building labelled "office" standing there, so it is fairly safe to conclude that the home didn't exist there by then. In 1924, the home is first listed as belonging to George B. Garrett
1930 census: Delawarean accountant Maurice is living with his family, and another section is resided in by the King family headed by Michiganer-Canadian-descent artist Walter.

In 1944, Elsie died. Her son, Thomas, served in WWII as a First Lieutenant. The family lived in the home at least as late as 1946 and the home went on sale in 1948.
Although the King family no longer lived in the home by 1945, having moved to Oakmont, the Kings' son Walter, Jr., died in 1945 after his motorcycle crashed into a pole off of the road. He was only 17 years old.
